Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied. The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption function in PvP or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more marketable than the perfect non-upgraded version. Reroll Tokens Reroll tokens are a way to reroll an acquired item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is swapped for a different one of the same type with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original item's level and any money wasted won't get compensated. Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a new stat. Players can roll their equipment in three attributes three categories: physical power, magic power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power upgrade mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health. There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items. The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is being rerolled. This allows you to ensure that upgrades are not wasted. Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they show a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount. During the course of a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool. Growthstones Weapons and armor, as well as accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts. To upgrade gear to upgrade gear, players must first locate the item and then click the “level up button”. This will display a list of the item's level, and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires just one green or blue Growth Stone. After selecting the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be upgraded in level by a certain percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes. The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. This makes it an excellent method for players to gain an advantage in battle without straining their bank account. By clicking on the “transfer tab” players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear. The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be daunting for novice players. There are several methods to get them. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones. Leveling Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. Full Guide will use up the upgrade materials and give the item an upgrade level, giving the item an additional boost in the area. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level. Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at a time. Each upgrade component requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum equipment level. The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process. A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will be increased by only a tiny amount. The maximum level for an item is 19. Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted. Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely. Requirements Items upgrades allow players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available). The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them more effects or an improved level of the item. These upgrades can come from many sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been placed in an item it cannot be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions. Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item. For instance, the helm upgrade “Foundation of the Sun” improves base defense, and also gives an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS “Wildfire” on the other hand, increases weapon damage. Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version. The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item. If you've fulfilled the conditions for upgrading the game will put the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing it. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
